A New Purpose

I have decided to become a blogger once again.  This time with a purpose.  I have recently started following a blog called www.clickitupanotch.com and have decided to join her and other photographers in a 365 day project to take photos. "Shooting everyday, being intentional about what I'm shooting, and daily editing really helps you to focus on your photography" (clickitupanotch).

I thought it sounded like a good idea, and it definitely won't hurt to become more thoughtful about the shots I take.  Whether or not I post daily or use my "good camera" everyday, the design of this project is to learn from critiquing my own photos and getting insight from others that have joined.

As you critique my photos in the comments below.  I ask that you use the "critique sandwich rule"
      - Say something positive
-Something you would have done differently
          -Something positive

My rule - no improvement tip = deleted comment

Constructive critiques will benefit the person leaving the comment, myself and others who read it on their own photography.

As of November 1, 2013, I begin a new task to share and be shared of my 365 day photo journal.  I realize many would wait until Jan 1 to start a new project - but why wait to better oneself?  Join me in this journey and please feel free to comment.

Hi, this is April from reginaphotog.blogspot.com. I am doing the 365 challenge as well and I like your idea of the "critique sandwich rule". How can one hone their skills as a photographer without honest critique? I am looking forward to seeing your photos during this challenge!
